Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Australia invites applications for the National Administration Team Leader in the School of Health Sciences, with options for Sydney Broadway or Fremantle WA campus. This full-time, continuing appointment supports executive stakeholders and leads the administrative team.

The role focuses on governance, policy, financial and HR matters, driving continuous improvement, building strong relationships, and delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced university

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with at least four years' relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing multidisciplinary administrative teams, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture across complex environments.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver projects, interpret policies, and provide operational, financial, and planning advice.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, budget planning, resource allocation, risk management, and overseeing administrative operations within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse internal and external partners and deliver high-quality client service.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and continuous improvement capabilities, including experience implementing new systems, streamlining processes, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

About the role

The Administrative Team Leader provides strategic and operational support to the Associate Director School Operations, the National Head of School, and the school leadership team to ensure the effective delivery of administrative services. The role oversees governance, compliance, and day-to-day operational functions while leading and developing administrative staff. It also promotes collaboration across teams and optimises resources to support the school’s objectives and the University's broader goals.

Key Responsibilities
