Job summary

SGS Australia is seeking a Multiskilled team member for our new Holden Hill laboratory in Adelaide. The role focuses on precise sample handling, order accuracy and adherence to Quality Control procedures.

You will load and unload samples, mill and transfer sub-samples, and follow established procedures. Strong teamwork, good communication and basic Microsoft Office skills are valued; full training is provided. Excellent facilities and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft suite.
• Teamwork and cooperation with effective communication.
• Physically fit due to required tasks.
• Meet site access requirements (training, induction, medical)

Responsibilities

• Match samples delivered with paperwork and note any missing items.
• Load and unload samples onto drying racks and maintain order.
• Milling samples and transferring sub-samples to packets in correct order while following QC procedures.
• Understand the sample analysis procedures.

Job Description

SGS are seeking keen enthusiastic people to fill Multiskilled team member roles at our new laboratory in Holden Hill, Adelaide. Our culture is a focused and supportive one, and we are genuinely committed to making it a great place to work for all employees. Good literacy, team playing, attention to detail and initiative are required. Full training is provided.

Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

• Match samples delivered with supplied paperwork and detailing samples additional or not received.
• Load and unload samples onto drying racks and maintain numerical order.
• Responsible for milling samples and transferring sub-samples to sample packets in correct numerical order while following established Quality Control procedures and avoiding contamination.
• Understanding of the sample analysis procedures.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualifications and experience whilst desirable, are not essential
• Proficient with Microsoft suite
• Teamwork and cooperation with effective communication
• Physically fit due to required tasks.
• Meet site access requirements (ie: training, induction and medical requirements)
