Job summary

BFG Daracon Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Operator to support safe and efficient site operations across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. The role involves operating heavy equipment, managing stockpiles and performing civil labour tasks to meet site requirements.

The successful candidate will have proven experience with loaders, backhoes, water carts and excavators, a current Order 45 medical or the ability to obtain one, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders, backhoes, water carts and excavators.
• Civil labouring experience in mining or construction.
• Current Order 45 medical, or ability to obtain one.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and site requirements.
• Reliable, committed approach and pride in delivering quality work.
• HR licence preferred and a valid driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate Komatsu 475-10 loader or equivalent safely and efficiently.
• Manage stockpiles to meet production/site requirements.
• Carry out road maintenance and general civil labouring duties.
• Provide hot-seat coverage on water carts, backhoes and excavators as required.

BFG Daracon Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Operator to support safe and efficient site operations throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. This hands-on role is ideal for a reliable operator who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to a strong team.

About the role

Operate a Komatsu 475-10 loader, or similar, safely and efficiently for pugmill loading operations.

Manage stockpiles to meet production and site requirements.

Carry out road maintenance and general civil labouring duties.

Provide hot-seat coverage on water carts, backhoes and excavators as required.

What you’ll bring

Demonstrated experience and relevant qualifications operating loaders, backhoes, water carts and excavators.

Proven civil labouring experience in a mining, construction or similar environment.

A current Order 45 medical, or the ability and willingness to complete one and meet all requirements.

A strong understanding of safe work practices, procedures and site requirements.

A reliable, committed approach and pride in delivering quality work.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A current driver licence, with an HR licence preferred, and reliable transport.
