Cefn Pty Ltd in Leyburn, QLD is seeking a multi-skilled Machine Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. You will operate a range of machinery to support construction and maintenance of our piggery buildings and related works.

The role requires physical fitness and a can-do attitude, with additional labouring tasks across the construction team as needed. Applicants should be reliable, safety-focused and capable of working in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Machine Operator.
• Competent in the operation of a variety of heavy plant and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a range of plant and equipment including skid steer, excavator, loader, telehandler and HR Trucks.
• Carry out pre-start checks and basic maintenance on all assigned machinery.
• Work safely and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with management to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
