KCS Australia in Lilydale is seeking multiple casual Production Workers / Machine Operators to join our daytime shifts. No prior experience required, though manufacturing or packing backgrounds are valued.

You will operate plastic injection moulding machines, perform quality checks, and pack components in a fast-paced factory environment. We offer on-the-job training, two-hourly job rotation, onsite parking, and opportunities for ongoing casual work depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask, operating multiple machines or completing assembly while monitoring a machine.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and achieve KPIs.

MULTIPLE PRODUCTION WORKERS / MACHINE OPERATORS NEEDED

Casual Production Workers / Machine Operators – Immediate Start

KCS is proudly Australian owned and operated. Located in Lilydale in modern, clean manufacturing facilities, we specialise in custom plastic injection moulding and operate under an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System and are Sedex Certified.

Due to our busy upcoming Christmas production schedule, we are seeking to employ multiple Casual Production Workers / Machine Operators for an immediate start on day shift, with some overtime available.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:15pm
Friday: 7:00am – 2:30pm

Applicants must have their own reliable transport and be available to work Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

• Operating plastic injection moulding machines

• Picking and packing plastic components

• Following quality procedures and work instructions

• Performing visual quality checks

• Labelling and packing cartons

• General production and assembly duties

Must Haves:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

• Ability to multitask, including operating multiple machines or completing assembly work while monitoring a machine

• Willingness to work as part of a team and achieve production, picking and packing KPIs

• Ability to follow instructions, procedures and safety requirements

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

• Availability to work Monday to Friday

No previous experience is required; however, previous manufacturing, production, machine operating or picking and packing experience will be highly regarded.

Please note that this is a physical role within a factory environment. Employees are required to wear hi-vis clothing and steel-cap safety footwear.

Previous experience using pallet/trolley jacks would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to successful candidates.

There is potential for ongoing casual work depending on production requirements and workload.
