Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager (EL1 Equivalent) to lead technology initiatives across dispersed and remote environments. The role requires delivering complex ICT programs with diverse stakeholders and robust governance.

Baseline security clearance is mandatory, with hybrid work arrangements and up to 40 hours per week. Initial 12-month contract with a view to extension, commencing September 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an ICT Project Manager or Project Coordinator in a technical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to ICT communications technologies.
• Experience across ICT infrastructure and telecommunications environments.
• Knowledge of satellite, networking and radio communications technologies.
• Experience delivering ICT projects in government environments.
• Experience managing projects in remote or dispersed locations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Develop end-to-end ICT project plans with timeframes and budgets.
• Manage resources, budgets, schedules and deliverables.
• Apply PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, SAFe and hybrid delivery methods.

• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure technology solutions meet quality standards and business objectives.
• Coordinate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders and partners.
• Prepare and present project status reports and governance documents.

• Navigate complex environments with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Represent ICT interests on project boards and governance forums.

Key Responsibilities

As the ICT Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and managing end-to-end ICT project plans, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Managing project resources, budgets, schedules and deliverables.
• Applying and adapting project delivery methodologies including PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, SAFe and hybrid approaches.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships across business, technical and executive teams.
• Identifying, managing and mitigating project risks and issues.
• Ensuring technology solutions meet required quality standards and business objectives.
• Facilitating collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners.
• Preparing and presenting project status reports, briefings and governance documentation.
• Managing stakeholder expectations through effective communication and engagement.
• Working within complex and changing environments, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Representing ICT interests on project boards, steering committees and governance forums.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within project delivery functions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as an ICT Project Manager or Project Coordinator within a technical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly relating to technical communications technologies.
• Experience working across ICT infrastructure and telecommunications environments.
• Sound knowledge of satellite, networking and radio communications technologies.
• Previous experience delivering ICT projects within government environments.
• Demonstrated success managing projects in remote locations or geographically dispersed environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong organisational, planning and leadership capabilities.
• The ability to remain resilient, adaptable and outcome-focused in complex delivery environments.

Requirements

• Must hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
• Availability to commence in September 2026.
• Capacity to work up to 40 hours per week.
