Zurich is seeking a Multiline Underwriter for the Edupac portfolio in Australia. You will underwrite new business, renewals and changes across Property, Liability, Motor, Financial Lines and Health, collaborating with Aon and internal teams to ensure sound outcomes and superb service.

Qualifications

• Exposure to Property, Liability, Motor or broader General Insurance underwriting.
• Open to experienced Assistant Underwriters ready to take the next step.
• Understanding of underwriting principles and risk assessment within delegated authority.
• Ability to apply frameworks and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite new business, renewals and policy changes within approved frameworks.
• Apply criteria consistently, refer or escalate to senior underwriters when needed.
• Work across multiple lines of business to build broader capability.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and internal teams for smooth underwriting.
• Deliver timely, accurate responses to broker inquiries and policy administration.
