Job summary

Med-X Healthcare Solutions, part of the Freightways Group, is seeking a proactive Multi Stop Driver to deliver essential clinical waste and hygiene services across Melbourne and surrounding areas. You will operate a van or light truck, perform daily safety checks, and complete service paperwork while providing top‑notch customer service in the field.

The role requires at least 1 year of commercial driving, a valid C Class license, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of commercial driving experience (multi-drop preferred).
• Valid C Class license with clean driving record; MR is a plus.
• Willingness to work independently in the field and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with smartphone apps and basic tech.
• Commitment to safety and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect sharps containers and clinical waste bins (660L/240L).
• Service sanitary waste bins and hygiene products across Melbourne metro and regional areas.
• Operate a large van or light truck safely, load/unload at customer sites.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep truck clean and safe.
• Complete service paperwork and record load weights accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service while working independently.

As part of the Freightways Group, one of Australasia’s leading logistics and information management companies,Med-X Healthcare Solutionsis a national leader in Clinical Waste, Sharps Disposal, and Hygiene & Washroom services. We’re seeking a motivated team member who thrives on independence, takes pride in delivering great service, and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and collect, sharps containers and clinical waste bins - 660L and 240L bins.
• Service / collect sanitary waste bins and hygiene products at schools, clinics and businesses across the Melbourne metro and surrounding regional areas.
• Operate a large commercial van or light truck safely, loading and unloading at various customer sites.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, safe truck.
• Accurately complete service paperwork and record load weights.
• Provide excellent customer service while working independently in the field.
• Rotating Saturday shift and once a month overnight run.
• Ensure compliance with Med-X policies, procedures, and WHS requirements.

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (multi‑drop preferred)
• At least a valid C Class license with a clean driving record (MR preferable)
• Working with Children Check (employee) preferable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a tight‑knit team
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills
• Safe manual handling abilities – regular pushing/pulling of 660L bins and occasional lifting of 240L bins (16–25kg)
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable using smartphone applications
