Job summary

Gippsland Water invites applications for a Multi Skilled Operator (MSO) Specialist to support the Major Systems workgroup. You will perform operation, maintenance and inspection tasks on water and wastewater assets, contributing to risk management and timely delivery of services.

The role requires after-hours roster availability and a commitment to a diverse, inclusive workplace. Shortlisted applicants may undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver operational and maintenance activities safely.
• Effective time management and teamwork skills.
• Technical knowledge and experience in asset maintenance, preferably water and wastewater major systems.
• Ability to work on an after-hours roster.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality support to Gippsland Water's Major Systems workgroup, performing operation, maintenance and inspection tasks on assets in a timely manner.
• Assist the Major Systems workgroup in achieving its strategic objectives by managing risks associated with water and wastewater transfer systems.
