Job summary

Mackay Regional Council is seeking an Experienced Multiskilled Operator to join the Civil Operations team at the Calen Depot. The role requires road and drainage plant operation experience with relevant licences and a minimum of two tickets from skid steer, roller, loader, backhoe, or grader.

We offer a base salary from $70,813 plus allowances, up to 18% super, generous leave, a 9 day fortnight, and development opportunities in a supportive, EE0 employer environment.

Qualifications

• Current General Construction Safety Card (White Card).
• Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck HR Class Licence.
• Current Traffic Controllers Ticket.
• Certificate of Competencies in skid steer loader, roller, loader, backhoe, or grader.
• Extensive experience driving single axle trucks in varying road conditions.
• Extensive experience operating road construction plant (roller, backhoe, loader).
• Extensive experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure.
• Certificate III in Civil Construction.

Mackay Regional Council is currently seeking an Experienced Multiskilled Operator to join the Civil Operations team based at the Calen Depot.

We are looking for someone who has experience on roads and drainage with extensive experience on different plant machinery.

The successful candidate must hold the relevant Licence/tickets to operate road construction plant and/or equipment with a minimum of 2 from either skid steer loader, roller, loader, backhoe, or grader in order to be considered as this is not an entry level position. Training and development opportunities will be provided to advance current skills.
