Job summary

Aurizon's Gladstone Port Services team is seeking safety‑mocused, hands‑on Multi Skilled Equipment Operators for casual work. You’ll drive heavy vehicles and operate forklifts to move containerised freight, with duties including loading/unloading and pre-start checks.

Casual shifts up to 12 hours, including weekends, in a busy port. Requires HC licence, forklift qualification, and a proactive, safety‑first approach to keep Aurizon’s Bulk operations running smoothly.

About the role

As a Multi Skilled Equipment Operator, you’ll support safe and efficient port operations by moving freight, operating equipment and assisting with loading and unloading activities as required.

• Driving heavy vehicle single to multi combinations to transport containerised freight.
• Operating forklifts to safely load and unload materials and goods.
• Supporting day‑to‑day operational requirements across Aurizon’s Bulk operations.
• Completing pre‑starts, defect reports and other required paperwork accurately.
