Healius Limited, via Western Diagnostic Pathology, seeks an experienced Scientist - Multi Skilled to join a busy Mandurah diagnostic team. You will manage specimen receipt, operate a range of analysers, perform rapid PCR on GeneXpert and conduct microscopy within a 24/7 rotating shift pattern.

Key requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, strong QC and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy lab environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills in the discipline.
• Strong QC knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy and safety.

Mansioni

• Specimen receipt and processing.
• Operate and maintain analysers listed (AU680, DxC700AU, ACCESS 2, XN1000, Haemocue, CA-660, ABL90, Grifols Eflexis, DG reader, Elecsys, Aerospray stainer, Triage).
• Perform rapid PCR on GeneXpert and seminal analysis.
• Conduct STAT Microscopy and QC monitoring.
• Participate in internal and external surveys and liaise with hospital staff.
