Job summary

Coles Group is seeking a State Asset & Maintenance Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. You will own facilities, asset management and maintenance outcomes across the store network, collaborating with operations, technicians and partners to keep stores safe, compliant and reliable.

You will balance day-to-day responsiveness with proactive asset planning, while coordinating budgets, contracts and renewals with cross-functional teams for sustainable store performance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Facilities or Building Services, Asset Management, or a closely related field.
• Experience leading multi-site maintenance and asset management across large portfolios.
• Strong budget management and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance delivery across Victoria and Tasmania.
• Partner with operational and State leads to resolve maintenance priorities.
• Manage facilities service providers, technicians, subcontractors and suppliers against SLAs.
• Visit stores, review asset performance and identify durability improvements.
• Coordinate critical incidents and escalations across sites.
• Participate in new store handovers and transformational renewals with stakeholders.
• Work with Finance, Procurement and Property on budgets, contracts and asset planning.
