Job summary

Salisbury Group is seeking an Area Manager to lead cleaning operations across Croydon and surrounding areas in education settings. You will be accountable for service delivery, safeguarding, staff deployment, and budget control, with regular site visits and audits to maintain high standards.

You will recruit, train, coach, and develop teams while ensuring compliance with safety, data protection, and contractual requirements across your area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multi-site teams in cleaning or facilities management.
• Experience implementing safeguarding and DBS processes.
• Ability to manage budgets and drive cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cleaning operations across multiple education client sites.
• Recruit, vet, and deploy staff in line with safeguarding standards.
• Visit sites regularly to monitor service delivery and perform audits.
• Manage budgets and wage spend, ensuring efficient use of materials.
• Ensure information security and site security, including data protection compliant practices.
