Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Area Manager to lead cleaning operations across several client sites in Brighton and the surrounding areas. You will drive service delivery, monitor performance, manage budgets, and engage with clients to ensure contractual expectations are met.

You will oversee recruitment, induction, training, and performance management of teams, conduct site visits, audits, and reporting, and maintain health, safety and information security standards while travelling between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a service delivery environment.
• Strong focus on client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Health and safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices.
• Proficiency with reporting/workforce management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cleaning operations across multiple client sites.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery within contract.
• Conduct performance reviews, site visits (planned and unplanned).
• Oversee recruitment, induction, training and performance management of teams.
• Manage budgets and wage spend, monitor labour and materials usage, ensure accurate reporting.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, safety audits, and data security measures.
