Job summary

RSGx is seeking an experienced State HSE Advisor to provide practical HSE guidance across Melbourne and regional projects. You will support tenders, mobilisations and on-site delivery, driving risk assessments and control verification while coaching site teams in safety best practices.

With a Certificate IV in WHS and ICAM qualification, you will manage incident investigations and ensure rigorous HSE records and reporting using Procore or similar systems, contributing to a strong safety culture

Qualifications

Experience in an HSE advisory role on construction or resources projects.
Experience using Procore or a similar system for HSE reporting and records.
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety completed; ICAM qualified.

Responsibilities

Provide practical HSE advice across multiple projects, supporting tenders, mobilisation and day-to-day site delivery.
Facilitate risk assessments and verify control effectiveness on site.
Support incident and near-miss reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
Coach supervisors and crews on hazard identification and reporting.
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and promote the Safety culture on site.
Provide accurate HSE performance reporting to project management and senior HSE Manager.
