Job summary

Cooper McCullough Group in Central Queensland seeks an experienced MC Side Tipper Operator to support bulk earthworks and mining-related projects. You will operate multi-combination side tipper vehicles, perform pre-start checks, load/unload materials, and keep accurate delivery records in line with site safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Current MC driver’s licence with proven side tipper experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-combination side tipper vehicles on project sites.

Multi Combination Side Tipper Operator - Central Queensland

Cooper McCullough Group (CMG) is a leading civil construction business operating across Central Queensland, delivering bulk earthworks, infrastructure, and mining-related projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Multi Combination (MC) Side Tipper Operator to join our team.

As a key part of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials across our projects while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Operating multi-combination side tipper vehicles to transport materials across project sites
• Completing daily pre-start inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance issues
• Loading and unloading materials in line with site requirements and safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate delivery records, including load weights and destinations
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant legislation, site rules, and company policies
• Liaising professionally with site personnel, clients, and supervisors as required

What we’re looking for

• Current MC (Multi Combination) driver’s licence with proven side tipper experience
• Strong understanding of road transport regulations and safety requirements
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude on site
• A strong commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk managemen
