Job summary

Accenture Ballarat is seeking an MS SQL Database Administrator to join our new technology and operations centre. You will establish and manage MS SQL database environments for our clients, support go-live readiness, and collaborate with global and local teams in a secure, onshore delivery model.

The role requires Australian citizenship with active security clearance or eligibility, willingness to work shifts, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure high performance, backups, and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience as MS SQL DBA in managed services is preferred.
• Citizenship and security clearance eligibility required.
• Willingness to work on-call and in shifts.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and reviewing information related to MS SQL database environments.
• Perform routine MS SQL DBA tasks: backups, health checks, performance tuning, capacity management.
• Resolve production and non-production incidents with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with compute, storage, network, datacentre, and cloud teams.
