Job summary

Dematic’s Operations team in Belrose, NSW is seeking an experienced MRP & BOM Administrator to maintain BOMs, MRP data and production planning information within our ERP system. You will support Production Planning, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure materials are available when needed and that costing data is accurate.

This role offers hands-on work with engineering drawings, ERP data integrity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimise manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in MRP/ERP, manufacturing or production planning.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong Excel, data management and analytical skills.
• Methodical approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with Syteline or similar ERP is highly regarded.
• Qualifications in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) from engineering drawings and approved design information.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings, production steps, labour allocations and manufacturing times.
• Maintain accurate item master, planning and MRP data within the ERP system.
• Review MRP requirements, material shortages and planning exceptions.
• Manage purchased part information including supplier details, sourcing data and pricing.
• Support Production Planning and Purchasing by ensuring system data determines whether parts are manufactured or purchased.
• Update BOMs and routings to reflect approved engineering changes.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies affecting production or costing.
• Generate BOM and MRP reports and identify process improvements.
• Support products including racking, conveyor systems, AGVs and control panels.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Join Dematic’s Operations team at the heart of our manufacturing and supply chain operations. As an MRP & BOM Administrator based in Belrose , you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs), Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data and production planning information within our ERP system.

This position directly supports Production, Purchasing, Planning and Engineering teams, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, and that product costing and manufacturing plans are built on accurate system data.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys reading engineering drawings, working with data, manufacturing processes and ERP systems, and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.

Tasks and Qualifications:

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) from engineering drawings and approved design information
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings, production steps, labour allocations and manufacturing times
• Maintain accurate item master, planning and MRP data within the ERP system
• Review MRP requirements, material shortages and planning exceptions
• Manage purchased part information including supplier details, sourcing data and pricing
• Support Production Planning and Purchasing by ensuring system data accurately determines whether parts are manufactured in-house or purchased from suppliers
• Update BOMs and routings to reflect approved engineering changes
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies that could impact production, purchasing, inventory or costing
• Generate BOM and MRP reports and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support products including racking, conveyor systems, AGVs and control panels

SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in an MRP/ERP, manufacturing or production planning environment
• An understanding of Bills of Materials, manufacturing routings, MRP and production planning processes
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong Excel, data management and analytical skills
• A methodical approach to accuracy and attention to detail
• The confidence to identify issues, investigate root causes and work collaboratively to resolve them
• Experience with Syteline or a similar ERP system will be highly regarded
• Qualifications in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline are desirable
