Job summary

Monash Health in Melbourne is seeking a full-time Grade 4 MRI Supervisor to lead and inspire the clinical and operational MRI services at Moorabbin Hospital. This permanent leadership opportunity offers Monday–Friday hours, no afternoon or weekend shifts, and a manageable on-call roster.

You will oversee a diverse imaging environment, collaborating across CT, MRI, mammography, fluoroscopy, X-ray, PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine, while upholding patient safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Radiation Use License is required.
• Postgraduate qualifications in MRI are required.
• Proven MRI leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership of MRI services at Moorabbin Hospital.
• Lead and supervise the MRI team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.
• Collaborate across CT, MRI, mammography, fluoroscopy, X-ray, PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine.
• Maintain work-life balance with Monday–Friday hours and a manageable on-call roster.

Lead and inspire: Provide clinical and operational leadership of MRI services at Moorabbin Hospital.

About You:

Highly motivated MIT with extensive MRI experience and advanced MRI clinical knowledge.

Demonstrated commitment to excellence in MRI practice and the values of Monash Health and Monash Radiology.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to adapt to changing clinical demands, operational priorities and workforce requirements.

A commitment to patient safety, staff development and continuous service improvement.
