Job summary

University of Sydney is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support a major MRFF-funded multiple sclerosis neuroimaging study. The role focuses on MRI data processing, neuroimaging workflow coordination, and study administration within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work with MRI pipelines, Python scripting, and data management to prepare data for downstream analysis while coordinating data flow across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRI analysis pipelines and neuroimaging software.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) and shell scripting.
• Ability to manage large, longitudinal clinical/imaging datasets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of a large MS neuroimaging study; ensure timely, accurate research activities.
• Manage complex imaging datasets; perform data extraction, organisation, and quality control.
• Execute MRI preprocessing and analysis pipelines; support workflow management across sites.
