Job summary

Minecon Recruitment is seeking an experienced MR Water Cart Operator / Civil Labourer for a Caboolture project. The role splits roughly 50/50 between water cart operation and manual civil labouring on a drainage works package as part of an upcoming road upgrade.

You’ll support dust suppression, assist with trenching and pipe installation, and help keep the site safe and productive. Immediate start with a supportive crew.

Qualifications

• Current MR Licence or higher required.
• Current Construction White Card.
• Previous water cart operating experience.
• Experience around underground services, drainage or pipeline works preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Willingness to undertake both operating and labouring duties.

Responsibilities

• Supporting dust suppression across the site.
• Assisting with general site operations and maintaining safety.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and water cart maintenance.
• Assisting excavator operators during trenching and pipe installation.
• Assisting with sewer and water main relocation works.
• Completing drainage and civil construction activities.
• Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe worksite.
• Collaborating with the crew to complete works safely and efficiently.

Job description

Minecon Recruitment is seeking an experienced MR Water Cart Operator / Civil Labourer to join a well-established civil contractor on a project based in Caboolture.

The project involves drainage works, including the relocation of existing sewer and water mains, as part of early works for an upcoming road upgrade in Caboolture.

The role will involve an approximate 50/50 split between water cart operation and general civil labouring, so applicants must be comfortable getting hands-on and assisting the crew when not operating the truck.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting dust suppression across the construction site.
• Assisting with general site operations and maintaining safe working conditions.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the water cart is maintained in good working order.

• Assisting with sewer and water main relocation works.

What We're Looking For

• Current MR Licence or higher.
