Australasian Mail Services in Sydney is seeking a reliable MR truck driver to support our transport and depot operations, collecting and delivering freight for existing and new customer contracts. You will perform multi-drop pickups and deliveries across Sydney, operate an MR truck and a 2-tonne van as required, and assist with warehouse processing.

A forklift licence and a safe driving record are essential.

Qualifikationen

You will play an important role in supporting our Sydney transport and depot operations, including collecting and delivering freight for existing and new customer contracts.

Key responsibilities

Collection and delivery of air and sea freight across Sydney

Airport, freight terminal and customer collections

Multi-drop pickups and deliveries

Safe loading and unloading of freight

Operating an MR truck safely and professionally

There will also be a use of a 2 tonne long wheel base van

Forklift operation and freight handling

Assisting with warehouse and cargo processing when required

Freight scanning and basic computer-based processing

Ensuring freight is handled securely and delivered on time

Maintaining WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements

Weekend shifts available

About you

Current Forklift Licence – essential

Minimum 2 years' truck driving experience

Good driving record

Strong knowledge of Sydney roads and transport routes

Experience with multi-drop pickups and deliveries

Airfreight, sea freight, courier or logistics experience highly regarded

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our operational systems

Strong focus on safety and compliance
