Job summary

NX Blue Pty Ltd. is seeking MR Truck Drivers to perform multi-drop LPG cylinder deliveries from Batemans Bay NSW. The role requires a valid MR license, safety awareness, and commitment to excellent customer service.

Daily start around 6am with potential overtime in winter, and a path to permanency for the right candidates. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years MR experience, a forklift license (preferable but not mandatory), and a proven safe driving record.

Qualifications

• MR License minimum and 3+ years MR experience.
• Forklift license preferred but can be obtained after start.
• Ability to complete manual handling tasks.
• Local to Batemans Bay and surrounding area.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop LPG cylinder deliveries daily.
• Safely load and unload gas cylinders; operate truck and forklift safely.
• Maintain delivery schedules, paperwork and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service with every delivery.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report issues to supervisor.
• Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.

Our client, Australia's largest supplier of Liquid Petroleum Gas for residential, industrial and commercial customers is seeking an MR Truck Drivers to run out of a site located in Batemans Bay NSW. This is a hands-on, active role involving multi-drop LPG cylinder deliveries, manual handling, and daily customer interactions. If you are self motivated, enjoy being on the go and take pride in delivering great service, this is an ideal opportunity.

These roles have a track to permanency with the Client for the right candidates. Applicants seeking an opportunity for eventual full-time employment are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous driving experience is a must.

The Roles:

• MR License minimum - Driving Flat bed medium rigid truck.
• Complete multi-drop LPG cylinder deliveries around Cooma and surrounds on a daily basis.
• Safely handle, load, and unload gas cylinders
• Safe operation of Forklift to load and unload trucks - Forklift License can be obtained post successful start as a Driver.
• Follow all safety procedures and delivery guidelines
• Maintain delivery schedules, paperwork, and documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service with every delivery
• Assist with general site and operational tasks as required
• 6am start with a minimum 8hr days / 40 hr week. Possibility of overtime and additional hours in Winter months.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck, including checking, oils, coolant, tire pressure, and general cleanliness
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of usage.

Requirements:

• MR License minimum
• Minimum 3 years of MR experience or above
• Forklift License - HRWL - LF - Preferred but can be obtained post successful start as a driver.
• Ability to complete manual handling tasks
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• PPE: Hi-Vis Clothing, Steel Cap Boots, Hard Hat will be provided
• Good Driving Record - needs to be supplied from Services NSW or similar
• Local to Batemans Bay and immediate surrounds
• Strong Communication skills and customer service.
