Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Truck Driver (MR) for the Bridge Maintenance team in Bega. You will operate MR vehicles, perform labouring tasks, and support maintenance across district bridges and culverts, including nights away from base when required.

The role requires experience driving heavy vehicles, adherence to safety standards, and willingness to travel across the region. You may work with water tankers and crane-equipped trucks, and the team emphasises safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or civils environment.
• Willingness to obtain traffic control certifications as needed.
• Resident within 100 km radius of Bega works depot.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR trucks for Bridge Maintenance in Bega.
• Undertake labouring and manual handling for bridges and culverts.
• Maintain timber, steel and concrete bridges; assist other trades.
