Job summary

Sydney Laser Engineering is seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our team in Glendenning, NSW. In this full-time role, you will operate MR class trucks to transport goods between our facility, suppliers and customer sites, with pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain safety.

You will work independently or as part of a team, adhere to road rules, assist with loading and unloading, and communicate with production, management and customers while delivering professional service.

Qualifications

• MR class driver’s license (validated).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating MR trucks.
• Strong knowledge of road rules and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Forklift license is required.

Sydney Laser Engineering is searching for an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our dedicated team in Glendenning, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials and goods across the region, playing a vital role in our manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate MR class trucks to transport goods and materials between our manufacturing facility, suppliers and customer sites

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness

Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices

Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as required

Communicate effectively with the Production Team, Management Team and customers

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner

What we're looking for

Valid MR class driver's license and a minimum of 2 years' experience operating MR trucks

Strong understanding of road rules and safe driving practices
