Job summary

Action Workforce seeks an MR Driver for immediate placement in Sydney. Role involves delivering dry and refrigerated foods to a range of clients, with manual handling up to 4 kg and customer interaction. Vehicles are preloaded (Fuso/Hino, mainly automatic) and hours run from 6:00 am to 2:00/3:00 pm, five days per week with occasional Saturday duties.

Pay is $38.65/hour, with starts in early October. Candidates must have MR license, PPE, and a minimum of one year driving experience, plus

• MR driving experience with minimum 1 year
• Must supply own PPE (hard cap footwear, long sleeves, pants)
• Manual lifting rated 5 kg
• Must complete 1 day induction
• Buddy with other driver for 1–2 weeks on start
• Strong attitude and people skills for direct customer interaction
• Compliance checks: onboarding, references, 5-year driving history, background/criminal checks
• Strong safety ethic and compliance culture

Responsibilities

• MR driving and delivering dry/refrigerated foodstuffs across Sydney and surrounds to hotels, clubs, cafes, aged care facilities, resorts, convenience stores, hospitality venues and schools
• Use trolley for cartons; manual lifting up to 4 kg
• Drive preloaded vehicles (Fuso/Hino, mostly automatic)
• Charge truck overnight and service clients with a professional approach

Action Workforce has the following MR Driver role available for immediate placement

Role: MR Driver

Responsibilities: MR Driving, delivering dry/refrigerated foodstuffs throughout Sydney and surrounds, clients including hotels, clubs, cafes/restaurants, aged care, resorts, convenience stores, hospitality venues and schools, manual lifting cartons upto 4kg, using trolley, selling to customers, charging truck overnight. The vehicle is preloaded and you simply heads out on deliveries. Vehicles: Fuso/Hino, mostly Automatic.

Role Type: TEMP ongoing with possibility to convert after 6 months

Days: 5 Days MON/TUE/WED/THU/FRI Every week + Adhoc SAT (full day)

Hours: Start/Finish 6.00am to 2.00/3.00pm

Pay: Ordinary Time $38.65/hour

Start: early October

Candidate Requirements:

• MR License essential, solid experience for 1 years minimum
• Must have your own PPE (hard cap footwear/long sleeves/pants)
• Manual Lifting - Rated 5K
• Must be happy to do 1 day induction
• Upon commencement will need to buddy with other driver/s for 1-2 weeks
• Must have great attitude/people skills as deal with direct customers and sell
• Successful completion of compliance; Onboarding, Ref Checks, 5 year Driving History, Functional Assessment and Criminal History Check
• Strong safety experience and ethics
