The role involves pickups and deliveries around Sydney Metro and Canberra ACT, operates Fuso flat-deck trucks (Auto & Manual), requires 5+ years of experience, strong load restraint knowledge, and a solid WH&S record. On offer is $37.50/hr plus super and OT, with training provided.

Qualifications

• MR license or above (HR/HC/MC) with clean driving record.
• Familiarity with driving Fuso Truck - flat deck, Auto & Manual.
• Good knowledge of Sydney Metro and Canberra ACT areas.
• At least 5 years of experience driving (pickups and drop-offs).
• Sound knowledge of load restraints and safe handling.
• Strong WH&S and safety awareness.
• Training provided with buddy-up system.
• Be able to provide driving record from Service NSW.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR truck for pickups and deliveries in Sydney region.
• Adhere to load-securing standards and safety procedures.
• Follow route plans and maintain vehicle logs and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team and report incidents or faults promptly.

MR Driver (Morning Shift - Immediate Start) | $37.50/hr + Super

Our client located in Orchard Hills, NSW is seeking to hire an experienced MR Truck driver to be part of their growing team.

They are one of the leading suppliers of construction systems with fibre cement boards and plasterboards, drywall products, and systems for partitions, ceilings, linings, and external sheathing for both the residential and commercial markets in Australia.

6 am to 2 pm

Monday to Friday

There would be the option for more hours on a day-to-day basis.

Must haves:

MR license or above (HR/HC/MC) with good driving history/record

Familiarity to drive Fuso Truck - (flat deck) Auto & Manual

Good geographical knowledge of Sydney Metro and Canberra ACT areas

At least 5 years plus experience driving (pickups and drop offs)

Sound technical knowledge of load restraints (strapping and wrapping products safely)

Strong Awareness of WH&S/safety requirements

Training will be provided (buddy-up system with other tenure drivers)
All applicants must be able to provide their driving record from service NSW.

On offer is $37.50 per hour based on experience + Super + OT as required.
