Capral in Cairns is seeking an experienced MR Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join our local team. You’ll deliver orders across the Cairns region and support warehouse operations, combining driving with customer service.

This role offers Monday–Friday hours, local home nights, and ongoing training within Australia’s leading aluminium manufacturer and distributor. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team committed to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted MR licence.
• Clear and recent Driver History Report.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work across driving and warehouse duties.
• Ability to multitask and work proactively as part of a small team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift Licence (LF) preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to successfully complete a Police Check and pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Delivering orders safely and efficiently to customers throughout the Cairns region.
• Building positive relationships with customers and providing friendly, professional service.
• Operating a forklift to load and unload vehicles; picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being active, working with people and having a bit of variety in their day.

You'll spend part of your day making local deliveries and providing friendly, professional service to our customers, while also supporting the team with day-to-day warehouse operations.
