Capral Limited in Cairns is seeking an MR Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join our local team. This varied role combines driving local deliveries with warehouse duties and customer service, offering real variety and daily home time.

You'll work Monday to Friday, enjoy evenings at home, and be supported by a friendly, values-driven team. Capral provides training, development, and access to employee benefits within Australia’s leading aluminium manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted MR licence.
• Clear and recent Driver History Report.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Hands-on approach across driving and warehouse duties.
• Ability to multitask and work proactively as part of a small team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift Licence (LF) preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to complete Police Check and pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Delivering orders safely and efficiently to customers throughout the Cairns region.
• Building positive relationships with customers and providing friendly, professional service.
• Operating a forklift to load and unload vehicles.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Assisting with receiving goods, stock control and general warehouse operations.
• Processing orders and maintaining accurate records.
• Contributing to a safe, tidy and well-organised workplace.

If you enjoy being out on the road but don't want long-haul driving or work that regularly takes you away from home, this could be the role for you. You'll make local deliveries across the Cairns region, get to know our customers and spend part of your day supporting our warehouse team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being active, working with people and having a bit of variety in their day.

You'll spend part of your day making local deliveries and providing friendly, professional service to our customers, while also supporting the team with day-to-day warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
