Job summary

Capral in Cairns is seeking an MR Delivery Driver/Storeperson for local Cairns deliveries and warehouse support. This role offers Monday–Friday hours, local routes, and a varied day between driving, warehouse tasks and customer service.

You will be home each night with weekends free in beautiful Far North Queensland. You will join a supportive, close-knit Capral team with ongoing training and access to employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a current MR licence.
• Demonstrate clear and recent Driver History Report.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work across driving and warehouse duties.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift Licence (LF) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customers across the Cairns region.
• Provide friendly, professional service and build positive customer relationships.
• Operate forklift to load and unload vehicles.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Assist with receiving goods, stock control and general warehouse operations.
• Process orders and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to a safe, tidy and well‑organised workplace.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being active, working with people and having a bit of variety in their day.

You'll spend part of your day making local deliveries and providing friendly, professional service to our customers, while also supporting the team with day-to-day warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering orders safely and efficiently to customers throughout the Cairns region
• Building positive relationships with customers and providing friendly, professional service
• Operating a forklift to load and unload vehiclesPicking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Assisting with receiving goods, stock control and general warehouse operations
• Processing orders and maintaining accurate records
• Contributing to a safe, tidy and well-organised workplace

ABOUT YOU:

We're looking for a reliable and motivated team member who enjoys driving, takes pride in providing great customer service and is happy to lend a hand in the warehouse when needed.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Current unrestricted MR licence
• Clear and recent Driver History Report
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work across both driving and warehouse duties
• Ability to multitask and work proactively as part of a small team
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift Licence (LF) preferred, or willingness to obtain one
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to successfully complete a Police Check and pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
