Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced Moxy Operators to join a leading waste management business at the Acacia Ridge site. This role offers $45 per hour with penalties, ongoing work and consistent hours with overtime opportunities.

You will operate Articulated Haul Trucks, perform pre-start checks, and work with excavator operators and ground crews. A pathway to full-time employment after 6 months is available.

Qualifications

• Current RII ticket to operate Articulated Haul Trucks (Moxy).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Moxys ideally in waste management or quarries.
• Previous experience in quarrying, landfill or transfer stations.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of Moxys (Articulated Dump Trucks) on waste management sites.
• Hauling bulk materials, safely navigating haul roads, and accurate tipping in designated areas.
• Working closely with excavator operators, supervisors, and ground crews.
• Completing daily pre-start checks and routine machine maintenance.
• Assisting with general site tasks when required.
