Job summary

iStaff Australia is seeking a Moxy Operator for long shifts at Gibson Island, QLD. You will operate Moxy/Articulated Dump Trucks to move soil and materials across remediation sites and support earthworks teams.

Role requires pre-start checks, safety compliance, and ability to work 10–12 hours daily, 5–6 days per week with overtime penalties of time and a half after 8 hours and double time after 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Moxy/Articulated Dump Trucks.
• Competency or ability to complete a VOC.
• Roller operating experience and competency.
• Valid Driver Licence.
• White Card.
• Own transport (depot not accessible by public transport).

• Operate Moxy/articulated dump trucks to transport soil, fill and excavated materials across remediation sites.
• Support earthworks and remediation activities by moving and tipping materials at designated locations.
• Work alongside excavator, dozer and other plant operators to support daily site operations.
• Assist with roller operation, ground compaction and general site duties when trained and required.
• Complete pre-start inspections and follow all site safety, environmental and traffic management procedures.

Client: Australian environmental engineering and services company. Specializing in remediation, water treatment, and hazardous waste management.

Site Location: Gibson Island, QLD

Role

• Operate Moxy/articulated dump trucks to transport soil, fill and excavated materials across remediation sites.
  
• Support earthworks and remediation activities by moving and tipping materials at designated locations.
  
• Work alongside excavator, dozer and other plant operators to support daily site operations.
  
• Assist with roller operation, ground compaction and general site duties when trained and required.
  
• Complete pre-start inspections and follow all site safety, environmental and traffic management procedures.
  

Selection Criteria:

• Previous experience operating Moxy/Articulated Dump Trucks.
• Relevant operating competency or ability to complete a VOC.
  
• Roller operating experience and competency.
  
• Valid Driver Licence
