Job summary

GLG GreenLife Group is seeking reliable mower and brushcutter operators to join our Port Macquarie team on a casual basis. You will manage grounds maintenance tasks using mowing equipment and ensure work is completed to high standards in open spaces.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current C licence as the minimum driver's licence requirement.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining mowing equipment safely and effectively.
• Minimum 2+ years experience operating mowing equipment.
• Experience operating zero turn mowers, ride-on mowers, and tractors.
• Willingness to work outdoors as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Manage grounds maintenance tasks using associated plant and equipment, including brushcutting, hedging, blowing, weeding, zero turn mowers and tractors.
• Operate various mowing equipment, blowers and brushcutters safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained and in safe working order.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct regular site inspections, to assess the quality of work and report any issues to your supervisor.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy.

GLG NSW are seeking suitably qualified staff to work on our mowing and gardening team for various clients across the Port Macquarie area on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities

Manage grounds maintenance tasks using associated plant and equipment, including brushcutting, hedging, blowing, weeding, zero turn mowers and tractors.

Operate various mowing equipment, blowers and brushcutters safely and efficiently.

Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained and in safe working order.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

What you need
