Job summary

Salesforce Sites in Bayswater, VIC is seeking a hands-on Quality Controller to perform hourly checks on moulded plastic parts. You will ensure material readiness for current and upcoming shifts, participate in safety meetings, and keep accurate paperwork and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• On the job training provided.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs hourly quality checks according to the relevant production form.
• Maintains enough raw material on all jobs for their shift and into the next shift.
• Make sure any material, including masterbatch is available for any changes on the shift.
• Participate in toolbox meetings / daily safety – quality whiteboard meetings.
• Completes all relevant paperwork for hourly checks and raw material.
• Basic troubleshooting for plastic parts which do not meet specifications on the hourly checklist.
• Maintains a clean department according to the Moulding Cleaning Checklist.
