Job summary
Komatsu Underground in Rutherford, NSW, is seeking an experienced Team Leader - Motors to supervise the overhaul, repair and delivery of electrical motors and components for underground mining equipment. You will lead a skilled motors team, ensure safe, efficient work and uphold quality standards.
You will work with planning, engineering and operations, drive continuous improvement, coach team members and promote a safety-first culture.
Qualifications
- Previous frontline leadership or supervisor role.
- Strong people leadership and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating workshop activities and resource utilisation.
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily Motors team operations.
- Promote and maintain a safety-first culture.
- Manage workflow, resources and priorities to meet production and customer requirements.
- Monitor quality, performance and productivity outcomes.
- Support the development and coaching of team members.
- Work collaboratively with planning, engineering and operational stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and quality standards.
