Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Motorcycle Delivery Driver at Tuggeranong Delivery Centre in the Australian Capital Territory. This permanent part‑time role involves starting early to prepare mail and small parcels and delivering to homes and businesses, with support from Rider Mentors.

You will complete daily vehicle safety checks, carry deliveries up to 16 kg, and enjoy a team focused on safety, wellbeing and opportunities to grow within the organisation. 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards (weighing 100Kg or less).
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles.

Responsibilities

• Begin each day at the facility, preparing mail and small parcels before delivery.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and load deliveries with care.
• Carry out reliable, safe deliveries to homes and businesses.
• Work with Rider Mentors who provide hands‑on guidance and coaching.
