Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a hands-on delivery rider. You’ll start each day at the facility, prepare mail and parcels, and deliver to homes and businesses. Daily vehicle safety checks and careful loading ensure safe, reliable deliveries.

Rider Mentors provide hands‑on coaching to build confidence and capabilities for long‑term growth. This permanent full‑time role offers an hourly rate with overtime opportunities and benefits, supporting your wellbeing and career progression within the transport

Qualifications

Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards (weighing 100Kg or less).
Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles.

Responsibilities

Begin each day at the facility, preparing mail and small parcels before delivering to homes and businesses.
Complete daily vehicle safety checks and load deliveries with care.
Carry out reliable deliveries with safety and consistency as a priority.
Receive hands‑on guidance from Rider Mentors to build confidence and skills.
