Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Motorcycle Delivery Driver at the Canberra South Delivery Facility. You will start each day preparing mail and parcels, performing safety checks, and delivering to homes and businesses with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will be supported by Rider Mentors to build confidence and grow your skills, with opportunities for career advancement within the delivery team.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards (weighing 100Kg or less)
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and small parcels from the facility to homes and businesses.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and load deliveries with care.
• Carry out reliable deliveries with safety and consistency at the forefront.
• Support Rider Mentors and grow skills for long‑term success.
