Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a hands-on Delivery Rider to start each day at the facility, prepare mail and small parcels, and deliver to homes and businesses with safety and reliability at the forefront.

You’ll work as part of a supportive delivery team, with Rider Mentors guiding you to build confidence, with opportunities for training, growth and pathways into more senior roles while prioritising safety and wellbeing on the road.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards (weighing 100Kg or less)
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
• Reliable and detail-focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles.

Responsibilities

• Begin each day by preparing mail and small parcels at the facility.
• Deliver to homes and businesses with a focus on safety and reliable deliveries.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and load deliveries with care.
• Carry out deliveries with safety and consistency at the forefront.
