Job summary

Griffith City Volkswagen in Griffith NSW is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our workshop. You will work on repairs and maintenance for all makes and models, and perform scheduled servicing.

The ideal candidate has strong diagnostics, good verbal and written communication, and the ability to work well in a team. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 per year for a full-time position, with applications opening 17 September 2026 and closing 17 October 2026.

Job Description

Griffith City Volkswagen is currently looking for experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join their team in Griffith NSW. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturers' requirements for all make and models
• The ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicing
• The capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order with the allocated time
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Strong diagnostics capabilities

Skills & Abilities

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
• A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• The ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $75,000 - $90,000pa commensurate with skills and experience. Full-time Position available. Application opens on 17th of September 2026 and closes on 17th of October 2026.
