Job summary

AAEM Group in Mackay QLD is seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our workshop. The role covers repairs and maintenance across all makes and models, plus scheduled servicing and servicing per repair orders.

You will need strong diagnostics, good verbal and written communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Salary range is AUD 70,000–85,000 per year, with full-time hours and ongoing opportunities based on experience.

Job Description

AAEM Group is currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Mackay QLD . The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturers' requirements for all make and models
• The ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicing
• The capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order with the allocated time
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Strong diagnostics capabilities

Skills & Abilities

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Ideally have a minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Technician
• A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• The ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience. Fulltime Position available. Application opens on 25th of August 2026 and closes on 25th of September 2026.
