Job summary

Infinity Group Australia on the Gold Coast is seeking five experienced Finance Strategists (Mortgage Brokers) to join a high‑volume team. You will assess borrowing capacity, develop lending and investment strategies, and guide clients through owner-occupied, residential investment and construction lending.

You will work with ready-to-go clients, supported by Broker Support and collaboration with Property and Client Success teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience within the Australian mortgage broking or lending industry.
• Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, MFAA or FBAA membership, ASIC authorised credit representative status and relevant lender accreditations.
• Demonstrated experience operating as a mortgage broker within a high-volume environment with excellent client service, compliance and attention to detail.
• Strong technical capability across borrowing capacity assessment, lender policy interpretation, loan structuring and credit strategy.
• Proven experience developing lending strategies that support debt reduction, wealth creation and long-term financial outcomes for clients.
• Experience structuring and managing owner-occupied, residential investment and construction lending transactions from initial strategy through to settlement.

Responsibilities

• Guide allocated clients through the finance journey from strategy to settlement and beyond.
• Complete borrowing capacity assessments and develop tailored lending strategies.
• Write lending strategies designed to support debt reduction, wealth creation and clients’ long-term financial goals.
• Structure owner-occupied home loans, residential investment property loans and construction loans.
• Manage applications and a high-volume pipeline efficiently, keeping clients informed throughout.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, documentation, compliant file notes and supporting evidence.
• Work closely with lenders, BDMs and internal teams to achieve strong client outcomes.
• Identify risks or delays early and take ownership of resolving them.
• Identify appropriate opportunities to connect clients with Infinity’s broader services.
• Attend Masterclass and Real Estate Mastery events as required.
• Weekend work will be required a minimum of once per month (Saturday and Sunday). This is to attend our Masterclass, which is our primary channel for sourcing clients.
