Pepper Money is seeking a Customer Service Specialist - Mortgages to support operations across servicing and regulatory compliance. This permanent role includes rostered weekend work and cross‑functional collaboration with Customer Service, Sales, Legal, Risk and Compliance.

• Experience in operational, customer service or administration roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communication with customers, stakeholders and third parties.
• Enjoy investigating issues and identifying practical solutions.
• Ability to work within established processes while managing competing priorities.
• Build relationships across teams and stakeholder groups.
• Understand privacy, compliance and risk management.
• Experience in financial services, credit reporting or customer operations is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Process refunds, payouts, BPAY and account adjustments accurately.
• Manage loan discharge requests and settlement administration.
• Investigate transaction discrepancies and payment allocation issues.
• Respond to requests from customers, solicitors, government and third parties.
• Support CCR activities, including corrections and bureau reporting.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Legal, Risk and Compliance teams.
• Contribute to reporting accuracy, controls and continuous improvement.
