Alloy Therapeutics is seeking a Scientist I – Molecular Biology to join the GEO team at their Cambridge site. The role focuses on designing and constructing large-scale synthetic gene loci for next-generation discovery platforms, using advanced genome engineering to enable diverse therapeutic antibody discovery, including bispecifics and VHHs.

The position blends thoughtful genetic design with hands-on wet-lab work.

Qualifications

PhD in Developmental Biology, Functional Genetics, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology or related field, or equivalent experience.
Immunology knowledge and ability to perform immunophenotypic analysis with multicolor flow cytometry.
Familiarity with genetic engineering and transgenic models; design of targeting and screening strategies.

Responsabilités

Design and construct complex gene loci to support antibody discovery platforms.
Perform hands-on genome engineering and model development to support generation of therapeutics.
Ensure data quality through rigorous analysis and meticulous documentation.
