Job summary

Lightning HR PTY LTD is seeking a hands-on Carpenter / Trade Assistant to join a busy modular building installation team based in Ipswich. You’ll work on-site across South East Queensland, assisting with modular building installation, carpentry, roofing and finishing tasks.

Ideal candidates have carpentry, roofing or general construction experience, or a strong Trade Assistant background, plus confidence with hand and power tools and a Construction White Card.

Qualifications

• Carpentry, roofing or general construction experience.
• Trade qualification OR strong Trade Assistant experience
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Construction White Card
• Good physical fitness and a willingness to get stuck in
• Reliable transport and driver’s licence
• A positive, easy‑going attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a crew

Responsibilities

• Installing and joining modular buildings onsite
• Carpentry and general building works
• Roofing, flashings and external finishing
• Fixing, fit-out and installation work
• Using hand and power tools
• Loading/unloading and setting up onsite
• General trade assistance wherever the team needs a hand
