St John WA in Belmont is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to join our Digital Services team on a permanent full-time basis. You will design, deliver and continuously improve the organisation’s end-user technology experience, ensuring employees have secure, modern tools across endpoints, collaboration and productivity platforms.

The role blends hands-on engineering with a strong focus on automation, standardisation and user experience, including M365 management, endpoint provisioning, patching

Qualifications

• Experience in Modern Workplace Engineering or similar.
• Microsoft certifications and ITIL certification.
• Experience with M365 and endpoint management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and improve end-user technology across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
• Manage deployment, patching, compliance and vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint and workplace technology issues.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell or Python.
• Apply security, governance and configuration standards.
• Monitor performance and improve employee experience.
• Support incident, problem and change management with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
• Lead technology improvements and modernisation initiatives.
