Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra on a permanent, full-time basis to join our Managed Services team. You will deliver and support Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions, with a focus on security, governance and user productivity.

The role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 11, EMS, Intune and related tools. You will act as a trusted advisor, support pre-sales activities, and help drive secure collaboration for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Modern Workplace and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and EMS.
• Experience with M365 suite: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Planner.
• Experience with Device Management: Remote desktop services, Virtualization (AVD), Identity Management, Intune, AutoPilot, EUC (Citrix) & Mobile Device Management.
• Security and Compliance: Licensing, Governance, Data management, Features, Identity Governance, Microsoft Information Protection & conditional access.
• Unified Communications solutions and products across Microsoft 365 including Teams Calling, audio & video conferencing
• Experience with PowerShell, Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.

LAB3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace, Security, and Network services. We're looking for a Modern Workplace Engineer based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra on a permanent, full-time basis, to be part of our Managed Services team. You will ideally have Baseline or NV1 security clearance or be an n Australian citizen able to be cleared. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting technical solutions built on Microsoft 365 and Azure Platform.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience in Modern Workplace and Cloud Technology platforms
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 11 and Enterprise Mobility + Security
• Experience with M365 suite: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Planner.
• Experience with Device Management: Remote desktop services, Virtualization (AVD), Identity Management, Intune,AutoPilot, EUC (Citrix) & Mobile Device Management
