Job summary

Wilmar Sugar & Renewables in Townsville invites a practical Project Manager to lead the mobility tablet rollout across our mills. This hands-on role requires coordinating people, technology, vendors and site activities to deliver a successful deployment.

You will work with site teams, IT, vendors and business stakeholders, managing planning, readiness, deployment and change activities, with travel between Ingham and Sarina.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects in corporate, industrial or multi-site environments.
• Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder management with a practical delivery focus.
• Able to work with operational teams and manage competing site priorities.
• Willingness to travel between Ingham and Sarina.
• Mobility or frontline technology/change experience is valued but not essential.
• Formal project management qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tablet rollout across Sugar mill locations from planning to handover.
• Develop and manage the project plan, schedule, budget, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate site teams, IT specialists, vendors and stakeholders to keep delivery on track.
• Plan and oversee site visits, device deployment, training and change activities.
• Provide clear project updates and escalate decisions, risks and roadblocks when required.
• Build strong relationships with operational teams to drive adoption of new devices.
• Contribute to other technology and business improvement projects as priorities evolve.
