Job summary

Avina is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our Melbourne Inner South East team in a mobile, community-based role. You will deliver Speech Pathology across home, school and community settings with a caseload shaped around your location to maximise flexibility.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, access to specialist AAC support, and opportunities for shadowing and mentoring. Full-time and part-time options are available, with travel across Victoria suburbs where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology required.
• Current SPA membership preferred or CPSP in progress.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check required, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred Speech Pathology across home, school and community settings.
• Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy.
• Support participants across communication and/or mealtime and dysphagia presentations.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Manage a community caseload shaped around your location where possible.
• Participate in clinical supervision, shadowing, mentoring and peer learning.
